Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital’s behavioral health and chemical dependency programs serve the community by providing the highest quality inpatient and outpatient services and programs to those suffering from psychiatric, psychological and chemical dependency issues. We offer programs for adolescents, ages 13-17, and adults, ages 18 and over.

Our Intake and Referral Department works to ensure that the admissions process flows as smoothly as possible for each of our patients and their families. You are invited to ask questions about a no-charge assessment, insurance and payment options, and what programs would be of most use in your particular situation. We strive to tailor programs and services to meet the individual needs of each of our patients.
Inpatient Services and Programs
Adolescents and adults with acute symptoms are provided with a secure, nurturing environment for 24-hour monitoring and treatment. We emphasize stabilization of immediate concerns, along with individual, group, and family therapy and medical treatment. Learn more →
Outpatient Services and Programs
Adolescents and adults who do not require 24-hour monitoring can participate in partial hospital programs and intensive outpatient programs. Patients will participate in therapy and treatment during the day while living and working outside the hospital. Learn more →
Assessment
A no-cost assessment is provided for each potential patient in order to evaluate current symptoms and determine which programs and services will benefit the patient most. Each assessment is completed by one of our intake and referral clinicians and will also help inform and educate potential patients and their families about our services and what they can expect in both the short and long terms.
